Road & Track Partners with Stillen for the 2009 Targa Newfoundland Rally Race

Grand Prize winner receives all-expense paid trip to the Targa

Newport Beach, CA (June 25, 2009) – Leading car magazine and auto site Road & Track (HFM U.S.) ) has partnered with aftermarket performance specialist Stillen for the 2009 Targa Newfoundland, a 6-day, 2200-kilometer (1367 miles) 40-plus-stage rally that will take place in Newfoundland September 12-19th. Championship-winning racer Steve Millen, president of Stillen, will handle driving duties while Road & Track feature editor Mike Monticello will serve as navigator.

Matt DeLorenzo, Road & Track’s editor-in-chief says, “The Targa Newfoundland is a great event that showcases a beautiful yet unheralded part of North America. Road & Track is privileged to be a part of an international competition that captures the imagination of the world.”

Road & Track has been following the building of the racecar—a heavily modified Nissan GT-R—and has 10 videos online (www.roadandtrack.com/stillen) taking site visitors behind the scenes to witness everything that Stillen’s engineers have done to build this very special car and make it race-ready. Additionally, Road & Track will feature daily reports and vivid in-car action—straight from the streets of the Targa.

Grand Prize - One Winner

Second Prize - Three Winners

Third Prize - Five Winners
